Compulsion (2018) is a dark psychological thriller set in Mexico that blends reality, obsession, and emotional breakdown into a surreal narrative.

The film follows several interconnected characters whose lives begin to overlap in disturbing and unpredictable ways. A neurobiologist, a television producer, and a police officer each struggle with personal desires, emotional instability, and hidden psychological tensions. At first, their stories seem separate, but they gradually become entangled through a series of strange, obsessive, and emotionally charged events.

As the story progresses, reality becomes increasingly unstable. The film blurs the line between what is real and what is imagined, creating a dream-like (and sometimes nightmarish) atmosphere where emotions dominate logic. Characters begin to lose control over their perceptions, relationships, and even their own identities.
