Amore mio

Her older sister, Margaux (Elodie Bouchez)—with whom she has shared a distant, complicated past—is sent to bring her back, but instead of forcing Lola to conform, Margaux makes a radical decision: she joins her.

The two sisters throw social expectations out the window and embark on a completely spontaneous, chaotic road trip towards the sun-drenched roads of Italy. The film beautifully highlights how Margaux acts as an emotional shield for her grieving sister, protecting her right to fall apart away from the judgmental eyes of society.
