ennifer Check (Megan Fox) is the popular, stunning high school cheerleader in the small town of Devil’s Kettle, Minnesota, while her childhood best friend Anita "Needy" Lesnicki (Amanda Seyfried) is reserved and meek. Despite their contrasting personalities, the two share a deep, co-dependent bond.

After attending a local bar gig by visiting indie rock band Low Shoulder, a mysterious fire consumes the venue. Low Shoulder offers Jennifer a ride in their van, only to sacrifice her to Satan in a forest ritual in exchange for mainstream commercial success. Because Jennifer is not a virgin, the ritual goes horribly wrong: she returns as a flesh-eating succubus who must feed on high school boys to maintain her beauty and vitality. As Jennifer’s body count grows, Needy discovers the horrific truth and must find a way to stop her toxic, demonic best friend.
