🎬 Carnivores

Mona Barni (Leïla Bekhti) is approaching thirty and struggling to build an acting career. She lives perpetually in the shadow of her younger sister, Samia (Zita Hanrot), a breakout star who has become one of the most celebrated talents in modern French cinema.

Out of money and options, Mona moves in with Samia, her partner, and their child. When intense pressure and anxiety lead to a breakdown for Samia on the set of an ambitious feature, Mona steps in as her personal assistant and acting coach. What begins as sisterly support rapidly spirals into a toxic psychological game. Mona gradually begins usurping her sister's identity, roles, and life—determined to take center stage no matter the cost.
