In the 1980s, Gloria (Soko / Béatrice Dalle) and Frances (Clara Ponsot / Emmanuelle Béart) fell madly in love as teenagers in Nancy, France. United by punk rock, rebellion, and shared stays in psychiatric wards, their volatile youth was defined by intense passion and destructive clashes.

Decades later, their lives have diverged dramatically. Gloria remains an unapologetic, anti-establishment punk living on the margins with no steady job or settled home. Frances has become a polished, wealthy television presenter living in Paris, married to a high-society man in a lavender marriage of convenience. When fate brings them back together in their late 40s, the dormant fire reignites. Frances invites Gloria into her bourgeois world, forcing both women to confront whether their past love can survive the vast class divides and compromises of middle age.
