Set during World War II, Joe (James Denton) is a B-17 bomber pilot who suffers severe head trauma and total amnesia after being shot down over enemy territory. Unaware of his past, his name, or his former life, he is sent to a rehabilitation clinic back in California to recover. Meanwhile, his devoted wife, Claire (Brooke Langton), refuses to accept reports that he is missing in action. When she discovers Joe is alive at a military hospital nearby, she rushes to his side—only to discover that he has no memory of her or their love. Rather than giving up, Claire dedicates herself to helping him reconstruct his identity, attempting to make him fall in love with her all over again despite the shadow of war and memory loss.
