An Intimate Friendship

Faygen Taylor (Lisel M. Gorell) is an up-and-coming playwright living in San Francisco, surrounded by a close-knit group of supportive, artistic friends. Her comfortable, predictable life undergoes a major shift when her best friend, Danielle (Rini Starkey), opens up about embarking on her very first lesbian relationship with a woman named Kelly (Stacy Marr). This revelation stirs unexpectedly intense, long-buried romantic feelings within Faygen. Confused by her sudden emotional turmoil and shifting identity, Faygen attempts to suppress her desires by starting a conventional relationship with a longtime male friend, Jamie (Tim McMillan). However, as the romantic boundaries between her core group of friends begin to blur, Faygen is forced to confront her true feelings, leading to a journey of self-discovery, queer awakening, and emotional honesty.
