My Take:
If you love the vibe of The Princess Diaries but prefer it with a queer twist involving two girls, this movie is for you. It’s a lighthearted, at times naive, but incredibly warm story about how love doesn’t care for labels or royal protocols. The film doesn't try to be a heavy drama—it’s pure entertainment meant to boost your mood.
What's Captivating: The charm of the leads. Their relationship is built on the classic "opposites attract" trope, which always works well on screen. The castle interiors and beautiful gardens make it a very pleasant visual experience.
A Word of Caution: It’s a low-budget production, which is occasionally noticeable in the picture or sound quality. The plot is fairly predictable and filled with classic movie clichés, but if you’re looking for something to just relax with, it’s not a major issue.
Verdict: 6.5/10 🏳️–
A sweet, casual fairytale about love. The perfect choice for when you need something light after a long day.
🔍 Did you know...?
The film gained massive internet popularity even before its official release thanks to fans on TikTok and Instagram sharing short clips from the set. The creators admitted that it was the online community’s support that allowed them to finish the production. Interestingly, many of the costumes (including the titular tiaras) were handmade by local artists to keep production costs down while maintaining a "royal" look.
