👑 REVIEW: Breaking the Girls (2013)

My Take:
Sara, a law student who just lost everything, meets the magnetic Alex. In a haze of alcohol and shared trauma, they strike a dark bargain: "I’ll kill your enemy if you kill mine." What starts as a pact of friendship turns into a deadly game of cat and mouse. It’s a psychological thriller fueled by obsession, manipulation, and high-stakes betrayal.

What's Captivating: The chemistry. Madeline Zima is hauntingly good as the manipulative Alex. The film captures a modern noir vibe perfectly—sleek, dark, and dangerous. It keeps you guessing who is the predator and who is the prey until the very last second.

A Word of Caution: The plot twists. It’s a roller-coaster of "wait, what?" moments. Some work brilliantly, others are a bit over-the-top, but it never stops being entertaining.

Verdict: 7.2/10 🔪🩸⛓️
Sleek, sexy, and dangerous. A perfect "revenge is a dish best served cold" thriller.
