My Take:
Imagine a group of rich, bored twenty-somethings trapped in a luxury mansion during a hurricane. Sounds like a classic? Add toxic friendships, social media, and a party game that turns into a real bloodbath. This is a Gen Z satire that is as funny as it is terrifying. The relationship between Bee and Sophie provides the emotional backbone, making it more than just a typical slasher.
What's Captivating: The script is razor-sharp. The dialogue about "gaslighting," "toxicity," and "safe spaces" while a killer is on the loose is genius. Visually, it’s a masterpiece—dark hallways lit only by neon glow sticks and iPhone flashlights create a unique atmosphere.
A Word of Caution: If you don't like characters who are intentionally annoying and narcissistic, this film might test your patience. But remember—that’s exactly the point!
Verdict: 8/10 🩸📱
Fresh, stylish, and subversive. The final plot twist will leave you speechless!

The film was produced by the legendary A24 studio, the power house behind hits like Midsommar and Moonlight. To make the actors look authentically panicked and exhausted, many scenes were filmed at night in a real, stifling mansion using mostly natural light sources like flashlights and phones. Amandla Stenberg and Maria Bakalova spent a lot of time together before filming to ensure their on-screen intimacy felt genuine.
