THE PLOT:
The story unfolds over three consecutive Fridays, following best friends Mimmi and Rönkkö. Mimmi is a fiery, cynical girl who finds her world turned upside down when she falls for Emma, a disciplined figure skater under immense pressure. Meanwhile, the quirky and adventurous Rönkkö is on a quest to find pleasure and understand her own desires. It’s a snapshot of three young women moving through the world like "explosions of light," trying to find their own rhythm in the dark Finnish winter.
