THE PLOT (NO SPOILERS):
Forget the "no crying in baseball" rule. This series takes us back to 1943, following the women of the All-American Girls Professional Baseball League. While Carson (Abbi Jacobson) is discovering her sexuality and a sense of belonging with her teammates, Max (Chanté Adams) is fighting for her right to play as a Black woman in a segregated world. It’s a home run of a story about carving out a space for yourself when the world says you don't exist.
